Laying it all out.

Mar 8th

I wanted to write this post to give a clear picture of all the things that are going on.  Here is the timeline this month:

March 10: Willow sees her pediatrician for a weigh-in and to have her ears re-checked. She hasn’t gained weight in two months, so pray that she’s put on some pounds!

March 11: Timothy has a dental checkup.

March 15: The Cecilia Ensemble‘s (TCE for short) first rehearsal with the Symphony Orchestra Augusta (SOA) director for Vaughan Williams’ Flos Campi.

March 18: Willow’s leg will be cast for her custom Ankle-Foot Orthotics (AFO’s for short).

March 21: TCE’s first dress rehearsal for the SOA concert.

March 22: 9:00 a.m. Zumbathon for the Marshall Y Community Support Campaign.

11:00 a.m. dress rehearsal for the SOA concert.

7:30 p.m. Concert time!

March 24: Willow’s MRI

Somewhere in all of this will also be Willow’s muscle-enzyme test, but we won’t have a date until it’s approved by Medicaid.

People have been asking if we have answers yet.  All I can say right now is that we probably won’t know anything until at least Easter.  Until then, we’re taking each day as it comes.  I still teach my classes at the Y and we treat all the days without appointments like regular days, complete with car lines, homework, and making sure the boys aren’t trying to kill each other. We feed the chickens, go on walks when the weather permits, and eat dinner as a family as often as we can.  Through all of this, I’m glad to be surrounded by so many friends and family who send messages and texts of encouragement.  I appreciate and love you all.

Thank you.
