Posted by: LizzieI’m taking time out from my irregularly scheduled programming to write about blogs! A while ago, I was asked which blogs I read regularly, so here is a list of blogs I have in my Google Reader (BEST INVENTION EVER), and I might make some comments about why I read them. Some of the content is cross-posted between blogs because a lot of these ladies are friends with one another.
Here goes:
Angry Chicken: Amy Karol wrote this awesome book that I really want to get for my own library. Her blog also features lots of tutorials, recipes, and cute stories about her home life.
Crafty Daisies: This blog is a wonderful mix of all kinds of craft tutorials, inspiration, and swaps! I’m participating in the softie swap this go ’round.
Joyce Makes Art: Joyce is the owner of all the Elliebelly shops. She dyes the most gorgeous yarns and also makes some really beautiful handpainted clothing and fabrics.
Molly Chicken: Lots of eye candy on this blog and she also has some cool tutorials. This Lavender Baby is so freaking cute I can’t stand it.
My Half of the Brain: The motherload of tutorials! I love the organization, but she hasn’t updated since March. 
My Little Mochi: She makes the cutest toys and I just lovelovelove looking at all her cute crochet creations.
My Paper Crane: I absolutely adore all of her plushies. I mean, seriously! I don’t think there’s a household object that she hasn’t turned into a cute softie. Who’da thought toilet paper could be cute? She also made all the cute Yummy Breakfast keychains.
PlanetJune: I just subscribed to her the other day, and I did so because she has some really cute crochet toys! She also has some pretty crafty tutorials.
Sew, Mama, Sew!: This blog has some really cool events and I love reading for all the inspiration. She’s currently running a Tutorial Contest and Thursday is going to be Women’s Clothing Month. I can never get over all the pretty fabrics.
Softies Central: Another softies blog! They are running a Softie Contest that you should definitely go vote on. DEWEY, THERE IS AN ELEPHANT CATEGORY!
Splityarn: More tutorials! I got hooked on her blog when I discovered all her zippered pouch tutorials. She also quilts, knits, and posts about travels.
The Purl Bee: A blog about quilting, knitting, sewing, everything! I love how they organize projects. Plus, they have an awesome shop and book!
Turkey Feathers: I came across her blog while looking at different embroidery sites. She’s the owner of Pattern Bee, which has a lot of beautiful freebies.
Wee Wonderfuls: Don’t you just love the name of this blog? If I had a girl, I’d be totally inspired by all of the sweet doll stuff she makes. I also have plans to make a Pointy Kitty, one of the cute freebies available for download.
Lastly!
Whip up: The motherload of all motherloads of tutorials blogs! This is how I discovered most of the blogs I listed above. There are really just no words to describe the awesomeness of this blog. Seriously. Go check it out!

you are so darn crafty! checking those blogs out every day must either really get the juices flowing for a new project or feeling overwhelmed b/c you could never do all that.
