Look! A girl baby! After several boys in the Grant family, we finally have a sweet little girl to spoil. Jamie’s brother has a new baby and I was commissioned to crochet this afghan. It’s the biggest thing I’ve ever crocheted! Establishing the star was a little tricky at first, but one I figured it out, it was smooth sailing.

Not for me, obviously, but I wish I had made these for Timothy when he was wee. I think I may make a bigger version of the hat for him still. It’s too adorable not to want to knit one for every baby I know!

I’ve been working on these Hedgerow Socks since October? I think? I honestly can’t remember when I started them, but I’m nearly finished with the first sock. I keep putting them down, though, because other babies keep being born or I start work on charity hats, etc. I can’t wait to be done with these babies, which will most likely be when it gets cold enough to wear wool socks again.

These were an excellent Waiting for Snow Activity. Each of the boys designed and colored their own mini-puzzle Valentines for their Mimi.
