chemical alteration

Wowee, this week has gone by quickly. Summer is fast-approaching and I think I’m ready to do some swimming. How about you?

All the men in my family have been putting together a wonderful garden this Spring. From our awesome book, Roots, Shoots, Buckets, and Boots, they chose the labyrinth and moon garden, combining them into a big project for our side yard. To accent the garden and also prettify our yard, they built a sweet picket fence. It just needs a few pickets and the trellis for the entrance. I’m so proud of everyone!

In other family news, last night marked the last rehearsal for the boys’ choirs at church, so they were awarded their beads for the year in a special ceremony. I didn’t have time to explain to Aiden what was going to happen, so he was a little overwhelmed by the whole experience and refused to cooperate for the “performance” of their song.

And to update on my TMJ issue, the oral surgeon dude started me on a one-week steroid pack and then I’m to start taking Voltaren for four months. He doesn’t feel that it’s bad enough to need surgery and we’ll explore other options once I get the inflammation under control. If I turn into a raging lunatic or something, it’s not my fault!

So, without further ado, here are some photos of all the business going on at Two Turtle Pond (a name I dubbed our pond & property):
