Corey’s EEG was this morning. He did really well through the whole thing and we’ll call Wednesday to find out the results.

After we were done at the hospital, I took the boys to go visit my Grandma. She’s in a nursing home getting some rehab because of the back surgery she had a couple weeks ago. She’s doing really well and was really glad to see us. We had our visit in the front waiting room, which was better because she says the patient wing of the home was a little scary (my words). I don’t have fond memories of visiting nursing homes, so I’m glad I didn’t have to give the boys bad memories.

After Simon wakes up from his nap, I have to take everyone to the WIC office to pick up our vouchers, then go to the library.

Yesterday, Jamie built us a hat rack very similar to this one from Ikea. He still has to sand & finish it. I’m looking forward to having somewhere to hang our coats!

My first Get Together is on Saturday and I’m so excited!!!!

I really, really wish I could take a nap today. But I doubt that will happen.

Knitting news: I bought the picky pants pattern for making longies, and I started a practice pair with some Cascade 220. I’m looking forwad to getting the purewool I ordered from a co-op so I can make some super-awesome shorties for summer. I’m getting these two colors: Wood and Pacifico.

Aren’t they pretty?
