Fall Break
Posted by: LizzieCorey’s on Fall Break until Thursday. You know what this means: Ultimate Craziness up in here! I kicked them out of the house for an hour this morning, and as soon as they are done with lunch, they are going right back out. It is too glorious of a day for them to stay indoors.
A donation was made in my name to Angel Food Ministries, so I got to go pick up a giant box of food Saturday morning. Now, our freezer is overflowing with chicken! We got a bag of chicken tenderloin fritters, chicken breast fritters, and drumsticks. We also got a small bag of potatoes, but, for some reason, they were frozen and upon thawing, got squishy. So I had to cut them up and make mashed potatoes at 10:00 p.m. Can you guess what’s for dinner this week? I’ll give you a hint: it involves chicken and mashed potatoes.
I finally located our copy of Microsoft Office. It went missing a few weeks ago, and I tore the house apart looking for it. When playgroup was over here Thursday, I had to go into the shed to get the fire ant killer. Lo, and behold! There was a box in the shed full of boxes (cell phone boxes, software, etc.). So, Office was in that box. I know that I didn’t put it in there…
I’ve been putting off making diaper covers because I can’t find a ruler. I need to cut strips of wool for binding, and the best way I can do it is with a rotary cutter. I had a ruler somewhere, but it’s missing. A yardstick would be ideal, so I may borrow one from my mama. I really can’t afford to wait any longer.
I’m also considering making a couple aprons to sell. I was so proud of the one I made before that I’m itching to do another one. Only thing is, I’m not sure how much I should charge.
Well, Simon’s awake from his nap now. Time to get to mothering…
