Five Months Old!
Posted by: LizzieTimothy is five months old today and that is SO CRAZY! In the past month, he finally decided that it’s okay to be on his tummy to play, except when he spits up and then smashes his face all in it. Then it’s gross and so not cool.
He has also discovered how fun it is to screech at the top of his lungs and make this forced laughing sound. I tried to capture this phenomenon on my camera phone, so if you can endure the horrible quality, take a look at this clip.
Also, whenever he smiles, he smashes his face into the floor or my chest or whatever is closest because, like one of my dear friends said, it’s like he’s overcome with emotion. I also adore the way he slaps his knees when he laughs and I’m holding him in a seated position. I’ll have to try to get someone to video that for me soon.
He still has dark baby hair on the back of his head that makes him look like an old man, and he’s growing some hair on top of his head. So he has a mohawk/receding hair line going on. It’s so bizarre.
Timothy has an excellent disposition. That sounds so formal, haha. It’s true though! Despite the fact that he is teething and therefore drooling buckets or gnawing on all objects within his grasp, he is truly a happy baby. The older boys love talking to him because whenever they so much as look at him and say his name, Timothy breaks into hysterics and it turns into a gigglefest of gargantuan proportions.
Life is so much fun right now.

Awwww….he is so cute!!! My son used to do that same thing when he got excited. Too cute!
