Lizzie... I just adapted your pattern to include a mother and her two babies tandem nursing - where can I email you the changes in pattern instructions and a photo?

Hi There,
Just wondering if you could help me design a pattern using the Australian Breastfeeding Association Symbol, i would love to get our local group to knit these for fundraising. Your help would be really appreciated, Thanks, Joanne

I've already made two of these (one is giant because I used a size 7 needle but my daughter loves it in th bathtub). The other I made for my physical therapist in thanks for fixing my neck so I could knit again. Brilliant pattern, thanks so much for figuring it out. Congratulations on your pregnancy #4. I just checked out 3dpregnancy.com because I did the original editing on the pregnancy calendar about 6 months ago before it got tarted up and turned into a massive advertisement. Trust me that it was a lot more mother-baby, breastfeeding and natural childbirth friendly before nickelodeon got ahold of it -- with suggestions like "buy used baby stuff! let the baby sleep with you! breastfeed on demand" not "Buy more stuff!"

This is wonderful! I love knitting dishcloths and with my third BF baby here (almost 7 weeks old), these are patterns I can almost finish! I've actually managed to knit while nursing. :) I'm going to be starting one of these today!

I used the standard bind-off method seen here: http://www.knittinghelp.com/videos/casting-off.

If you used the long-tail cast-on method, there is also a bind-off that matches it well: http://www.purlbee.com/the-purl-bee/2008/1/5/whits-knits-a-better-bind-off-tutorial.html.

Hope this helps!
