The Girls, by Lori Lansen

Posted by: Lizzie
I just finished reading The Girls by Lori Lansen.  A few weeks ago, I picked it up but put it down because I couldn’t get into it after reading Finding Fish.  I think it was something about how The Girls being written memoir-style made my brain turn off and I had to reach for something fluffy for a bit.

Even coming back to it, I had to give this book a while before I finally started wanting to not put it down.  The narrative really started to develop as one of the sisters found her “voice”.

Gosh, I don’t know what else to say about it other than I liked it.  Sorry if that’s blah; I’m not a good reviewer.  Let’s just say that I’ll only mention books I want to recommend (or advise against!).

So.  I definitely recommend this one.  :)   Back to bookmooch it goes!

I remember loving this book! In fact, I think I might read it again. I’m sure it is on my bookshelf SOMEwhere.
