I don’t have the time or energy to write a long blog post about this issue, so I’ll be brief.
First of all, thank you to Dewey for writing about this (I finally found your blog again!).
Second of all, we’ve talked about this particular “parenting” style several times in playgroup and now that I know how much of an issue it is raising in the blogworld, I feel like I have to do my part.
