Hooray!
Posted by: LizzieWell folks, my Natural Family Boutique website is up and running! Feel free to take a look around and, if you feel so inclined, make a purchase. There’s really something for everyone, even if you don’t have kids!
I’ve been fighting sinus headaches since yesterday. There’s definitely something in the air, but I don’t know what blooms in June. The pain is right behind my right eye and that makes wearing my contacts almost unbearable at times. This morning I went ahead and took an ibuprofin to take the edge off.
DS1 is still asleep and it’s almost 9:00. The boys didn’t have naps yesterday because of the running around we had to do and the excitement of Oma being here, so I’m really not surprised. Of course, ds2 woke up right on schedule–7:30. Thankfully, I was already up and changing the baby, who had his third blowout in since yesterday morning. This one didn’t get his clothes, thank goodness.
I have to vacuum again today. It looks like the cats had a cage match in here last night. They were fighting this morning. Is it a full moon? I haven’t been keeping up with moon phases or anything astrological lately. I used to check my horoscope every day and I knew what sign the moon was in & everything. I still get my emails with all that stuff, but it’s rare that I ever read them these days. Perhaps I’ll start again now that I’ve brought it to my attention. Now that I look at my Outlook, there are 58 unread messages in my “Astrology” folder. Guess I should do something about that.
The French seams on my skirt are coming out nicely. I’m going to be happy when it’s done. Today, I need to sew the tiers together and decide whether or not I want to use elastic or drawstring on the waist. Elastic would be easier to use, but I like the look of a drawstring waist for boho skirts. I just have to figure out how to sew it.
The baby smiled at me this morning. It just melted me. There aren’t any other words to describe it.
