Tuna Casserole
Posted by: LizzieI don’t know what you all put on top of YOUR tuna casserole, but I put Cheese Nips on mine. Not regularly, but I didn’t have any potato chips or fried onions, so I improvised. And damn, it was good. Plus the kids thought it was funny and were more impressed with my culinary skills than ever. Then we got into a conversation about where Cheese Nips come from. DS1 had a hard time believing there was a Cheese Nips factory. We sorted it out after a few minutes of debate.
“Where do Cheese Nips come from?
The store.
“But where do the COME FROM?”
THE STORE.
“No, BEFORE THE STORE!!!”
The Cheese Nips factory.
“There’s no Cheese Nips factory.”
Yes there is.
“No there isn’t!”
Yes there is, now be quite and eat.
THE END.
This morning I was all set to break out the postnatal yoga dvd I’ve had waiting for me from Netflix. I put it in the dvd player and it wouldn’t play, so I took it out and inspected it. Now. I’ve had this disc since before Simon was born. Did I bother to even make sure it was ok? NO. I wait until this morning, all ready to get back into the routine and the disc is cracked. So I had to pop in an old yogazone tape that I copied from the tv show that used to be on the Health Network back when we had cable when ds1 was a wee babe. I’ll probably pay for it tomorrow, but I wanted to do something substantial. What I’m really looking forward to is running again. My shoes barely got broken in last summer before I had to call it quits due to the heat. I’m making plans to run after the baby eats in the morning. That’s usually around six or seven.
I got the bigass HABA catalog in the mail today. It makes me giddy to see all the cool toys I can get for my kids & other family’s kids.
Ok, the baby’s awake. Time to finish my ramen and give him some boobie juice.
