Organizing

I feel so domestic today! Of course, you wouldn’t be able to tell by looking at my living room, but if you open a couple drawers, you’ll see how hard I’ve been working! Yes, as you can see, I finally put all my fabric in a drawer. I had some in there already, but most of my fabric was stuffed away in Wal-Mart bags in every room of the house, including closets. Now, it is neatly tucked away. One day, I’ll get around to organizing by color, but not today.
In addition to the fabric-putting-away, I went through a couple other bags. In one, there were three different sewing patterns just thrown in haphazardly with pieces of costumes I never finished making. All the pattern pieces were mixed up, so I had to put the right pieces together and stuff them back into their respective envelopes. These had been like this for almost three years and I guess I wasn’t ready to go through it all yet. Not becuase I’m lazy, but because I remember the day I put everything in there and I didn’t want to deal with those memories yet. Now that it’s all “cleaned up,” I feel a million times better in a million different ways.
Hey, look what’s growing under our front porch! I have no idea what kind of vine this is, but we think it could either be pumpkin or watermelon. How it got there, we’re not sure. I guess we’ll find out in a couple weeks.
We got some more fish yesterday. Our adventure started with a trip to the new Petco, but, upon careful inspection, we saw that all their goldfish had ich. They had some Pearlscales, which were cute, but they all looked like they had swim bladder problems. So we went to Wal-Mart, where, surprisingly enough, a lot of the goldfish looked healthy. I’m almost positive that one of the fantails we bought is actually a baby Ryukin, like Original Lucy was.
Well, it’s time to put Aiden down for a nap. I think Simon’s waking up from his, so I’ll have to go see what he’s doing. PEACE.
