It’s only funny when babies fart. Ever notice that they have the ability to do it louder than you? Even Grandma laughs when babies let one go.

It was pretty much a weekend to remember. The kids were exhausted by the end of the day yesterday and the older boys were working our last nerves. They ended up going to bed without stories because of The Popcorn Incident (which, incidentally, caused me to desire and then drink two beers immediately following the baby’s evening nursing). Thankfully, dh was there to keep me sane and clean up the mess in the living room.

The baby went all day without pooping yesterday then ended up blowing out in his fb overnight. And it leaked! Gah! I’m so mad. It didn’t get all over the bed, though, so I guess it could have been worse. No wonder he was so upset this morning. I swear, he’s the fussiest baby when it comes to having a soiled diaper.

It sucks that today is Memorial Day. Not that I don’t respect the holiday, but I selfishly want there to be mail. I’m expecting a Target gift card and a check from one of my survey sites any time now. I still don’t know when to expect my NFB kit, though. I’m waiting on my official acceptance email.

I had a dream that there was a big group of mothers who were talking about ds2. They were saying terrible things about him and I ended up going off. I yelled at them for being so rude and then went on to explain his history with therapy and they tried to apologize. I didn’t accept their apology because I knew it was just pity.

Perhaps today I’ll actually sit down and sew some things. The sewing table got cleaned off yesterday, so I really don’t have an excuse not to. But what shall I sew? I’ve considered trying to construct a nursing top for myself out of two tank tops. I’m afraid I’ll screw it up, though. I’ve also been inspired by the crafster website to make a tier skirt. I’m tired of wearing the same maternity jeans every day and I have a tier skirt that I really want to copy.

So, here is a list of projects I need to finish and ones I want to start:

1. I really need to finish the wizard cs that I started for dh when I was pg with ds1. (enough abbreviations for you? haha)
2. Make more cloth wipes
3. Make more burp cloths so I can stop using the flats
4. Finish the wool cover once the Aplix arrives (another reason why I wish the mail came today)
5. Make awesome purse out of the green wool
6. Make test coin purse out of scraps before reconstructing the blue nighty into one
7. Make coin purse out of blue nighty material
8. Once I buy some flaxseed & lavender, make eye pillows.

I just remembered that I have a horrible pink pj set somewhere that I could recon into stuff, too. The fabric is silky like the blue one is, so it would make pretty eye pillows, too.

God, I need to take a shower.
