I finished a skirt

Posted by: Lizzie

I was surprisingly productive yesterday, having finally finished the skirt I’ve been sewing all summer, and then sewing the Aplix on the wool diaper cover that’s been sitting on the sewing table since before Simon was born.

What about today?

I’m washing diapers & doing some other laundry. Will I get around to folding it all? Probably not.

We were discussing money for the rest of the month and gas and all that. I have to decide between a Creative Memories party at which I won’t actually purchase anything or going to playgroup next week. I want to go to the party because my sister is hosting and it’s only fair (she’s hosting a party for me). On the other hand, for my own sanity, I don’t want to miss playgroup for the third week in a row.

I should vacuum today. And make some snacks. I also have questions & need to email my NFB upline.

Thinking of having an online NFB Mystery Hostess party soon. I’ll need to talk to Jamie and see when he would let me just sit on the computer for a few hours without interruption.

I managed to plan meals for the next two weeks after all. I’m making an obscene amount of casseroles, but these will last for more than one meal and are freezable. Budget cooking suuuuucks.

To continue the theme of “I’m poor,” I called Citibank to discuss my options for studen loan repayment (my first payment is due the day before my birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME, STUDENT LOAN SHARKS). I’m going to apply for a consolidation & then work out the Income Sensitive Repayment option.

Dear Jesus,

Please help me win the lottery.
TIA!

Your pal,

Lizzie
