Oh, wow! My sympathies for having to go through all of that! I'm glad you had the presence of mind to talk with the anaesthesiologist. It's probably only possible with a planned operation, but there is a method to keep your throat open and breathing without sticking tubes through your vocal cords. That is unless the on call doc actually has the training. For future reference at this point. I hope you get to go home soon and that neither your breasts nor Timothy have suffered much.

Wow I'm sorry. That sounds so painful and to be without your child at this time must be so very difficult.

Hope you feel better soon! Glad you went in and got it caught before your appendix ruptured though.

Hope you feel better!

My DD22 on her first day of Spring Break from college last year (St. Patrick's Day) ended up in the ER with an emergency appendectomy.

She was at home and couldn't even stand up straight, so I called Dr. & they said to get her in right away. Appendicitis runs in DH's family. Nothing to fool around with.

Afterwords, the only room available was in maternity, so when I asked what room she was in & they told me, I said "I thought she was in to have her appendix out?" LOL

Take care! {{hugs}}
