I’m a mean mommy.

Corey is not allowed to watch any television (movies included) until his room is clean. I gave him a choice this morning for activities: puzzles in the kitchen or cleaning. Which do you think he chose?

I’m almost done with the cargo longies. What sucks is that as soon as I ordered the circular needle off ebay, I discovered that there is, in fact, a yarn store in Augusta that sells the brand of needle I ordered from the UK. At least I know better the next time I’m in the market for a new circular. I’m planning to check out the yarn selection there eventually since Jamie picked me up a copy of Stitch ‘n Bitch Nation.

As I await the arrival of my circular, I’m working on two more projects: a needle holder for my DPN’s and a TOP SECRET project for my sister’s birthday. I’m dying to write about it, but she reads my diary so I can’t. I don’t want to spoil the surprise. You will all have to be in suspense until July.

In garden/houseplant news, you can call me the Spider Plant Lady now. I posted to the freecycle group offering baby spider plants. You wouldn’t believe how many people are willing to drive all the way out here for them! I’m glad to give the babies a home.

My next gardening project will be a massive re-potting of the mama spider plant. There are several plants within the pot, so I’ll have to do some surgery. When I’m done, though, I’ll post to the group again and offer some potted spider plants. I sure as hell don’t need any more plants around here. After that I’ll repot the giant peace lily and the dragon tree in the living room. Nothing like a death or two in the family to turn your home into a greenhouse. How morbid of me, I know. But it’s true.

On that note, I must get back to farting around on the internets & catching up with other people’s blogs. Busy busy busy!
