life stuff

Posted by: Lizzie

I have to take pictures of all the stuff I’ve been doing, but I can’t post them yet! Jamie was like, you sure are making a lot of stuff for Elaina’s baby! And I said yeah, so! I don’t have a girl to make stuff for! I make stuff for my guys, but I don’t get to use all the cute girly fabrics and laces! And then today I saw a couple moms at the Chik-fil-A who dressed up their girls complete with little bows and I was kind of glad I have boys. Cause I overheard part of their conversation and it was about bows and one mom was like, I spent all morning organizing her bows. Boys accessorize with dirt!

!!!

My older sister is totally psyched that we joined the Y cause she’d been bugging me about it for a year. Now we can work out together on days when Jamie can watch Corey for part of the morning. He’s too old for the nursery and the Kids Clubhouse doesn’t start until 4:00. Aiden is excited about the water slide opening in May. We’re thinking about signing Corey and Aiden up for gymnastics. It would be good for the both of them and since Aiden is already a natural little gymnast, I would get a kick out of seeing him do some backflips. His forever doing headstands in the living room. One day, I might calculate all the time he spends upside-down just to see what percentage it is.

Hey guess what? Our church has podcasts of our services now. Neat! You can listen to our choir if you want. St. John UMC Augusta

I’m downloading the one from yesterday cause I sang “He Shall Feed His Flock” and I want you guys to hear it.

It’s going to be a long night as I venture out to Aiken for rehearsals with a choir there. I’m a ringer for their performance of Messiah this weekend.

Why the hell is it 50 degrees today??

Until I figure out feel like cutting up this podcast and posting my solos, here is a link to the podcast from Sunday: St. John Service, 4-13-08. The Handel aria is 13:58 into the podcast. But if you listen to it, it’s pretty boring. The organ was having problems and she couldn’t do anything to change the registration.

So. If you don’t want to be bored, listen to the choir anthem instead. It starts 29:00 in. That’s me at the beginning and end.

Happy Listening!

oh cool! Can’t wait to have a chance to listen.

And the Y rocks. You’ll have fun with your sister and the pool and everything.

Oh, and I hear you on the bows, etc. Can I say that it is nauseating to me?? Is that terrible? To see little girls all primped and perfect? Lily is in a dance class now, and some girls have perfect hair, bows, the whole thing. Then there’s Lily in her street clothes and she won’t keep her hair up in ponytails for long. And her part in her hair is SOOO strong I can’t do much of anything anyway.

Ok, sorry about that! Guess these girls are getting to me lately! I’m just so NOT prissy, I can’t relate.

Can’t wait to see all the fun stuff you’re making! :) Miss ya!
