More Potty Talk
Posted by: LizzieEver since I got back from San Francisco, a magical place of clam chowder where I had no kids (save the one in my ute), Simon decided that the potty was for the birds. He wet his pants continuously and I swear he had been saving up his water like a camel, waiting for me to return so he could make me want to jump back on the plane and go drown myself in the big vat of chocolate at the Ghirardelli Factory.
At least he’s over the Play-Doh Incident(s). That fiasco has been replaced by horrible constipation. I was nice enough to purchase individually containerized portions of applesauce, not thinking that it would mess him up like this. Now, it appears as if we’ve adopted a rabbit. Not more than five minutes ago, after I removed Simon’s second pair of wet underpants today, Corey was nice enough to clean up the pile of what seemed to be rodent pellets in the hallway.
What a great big brother.
Do you think I can convince him that he’s old enough to change diapers when this new baby comes?

that pic is hilarious!!!! oh a day in the life.
I have so been there w/ the constipation. It was a constant battle w/ James for about 2 yrs… After he weaned–yikes! Dairy and apples were his triggers. But maybe Simon’s is more just situational. Hope he’s back to normal soon. Maybe he needs some Activia yogurt! lol Those commercials….oh my!! But seriously, some acidophilous couldn’t hurt!
And I can’t believe he’s out of dipes. Wow…. Such a big boy! I put Clementine in sposies for our trip last week, and NONE of her pants fit! I was wishing for one of those belt loop thingies! But then none of her pants (but jeans) has loops. I’m glad to be back to a big ole cloth diapered butt!
