my coffee mug has style

This is the second cozy I’ve made, the first being a gift for a friend. I wanted to make something quick to give me a break after crocheting that huge afghan. If I had to make it again, I would probably start the smocking right away so there wouldn’t be that awkward inch of ribbing at the bottom. I have no idea if this actually keeps my coffee warmer than it would be otherwise, but at least my mug’s got some style. Plus, I got to use that ridiculous fake-brass button that came from some project Corey brought home from church.

super cute! i’ve been wanting to make a coffee cup cozy myself, so thanks for the knitspiration! now i HAVE to make one!

Cute! I’ve got some leftover yarn from my coffee pot cozy. Might make a fun little project.
