I cannot believe I forgot to publish a summary post about my Nursing Tank-A-Thon!
Without any further ado, here we go:
(In order of least favorite to most)
I hate to admit it, but the Comfy Kangaroo is my least favorite nursing tank. Though I like the idea behind a detachable bra, it simply isn’t practical. When I originally posted my review, I realized I had not tried to wear the tank without the bra. That was the deciding factor in my decision to bump this one to the bottom of the list. Without the sports bra underneath, there is nothing for the clasp to stay fastened to and the strap of the tank goes flying off. So not only is the clasp itself fiddly, if you wear the tank without the bra, you tend to lose the strap completely.
My least favorite features of Glamourmom & Motherhood tanks were, again, the clasps. I’ll reiterate that not all of the tanks in this line have the S-clasp, but I do have a few that do. In addition (and I didn’t mention it in my review), the built-in shelf bra elastic is not encased. I prefer a cased-in elastic so I don’t get all itchy at the end of a hot day.
I can’t complain about Target’s Gilligan & O’Malley tanks one bit. Nope! The clasps are great, the elastic is nice and comfy, and I love layering with them.
The Anne Matthew Drop-Cup Cami has everything I want in a nursing tank and then some. It is functional, comfortable, and stylish, surpassing all of my expectations. The clasp is simple, the built-in bra isn’t like most tanks of this nature in that it really is built in. You don’t have to worry about it getting all tangled with the rest of the tank in the wash–it is all one piece. I must thank A Mother’s Boutique again for allowing me to review this top. I love it so much!
Here’s another pic of me sporting the cami just a couple weeks ago:
