OH, my aching breasts.
Posted by: LizzieSimon has an ear infection, which has been a nursing nightmare for the past three days. His fever is gone but I can tell that he’s still uncomfortable because he keeps biting me and he just finished a 12-hour nursing strike. Neither one of us got more than an hour’s worth of continual sleep last night and now my shirt reeks of milk. I actually had to get out the pump so I could relieve the pressure from my gigantic, rock-hard boobs. I haven’t been this engorged since my milk came in.
Last night, I had to miss the annual Christmas at Jamie’s Grandma’s. I was able to go for snacks and that was all because we had a dress rehearsal at the church. Rehearsal was long and exhausting, but I think that this concert will be a fine one. I’m especially excited about the Renaissance piece that a small group of us is doing.
I need to finish some Christmas knitting today. The Holly King brought me some double-pointed needles, so I’m going to hunt down a pattern that uses size 3′s (the Holly King didn’t ask what size I preferred).
