Our neighbor is driving us crazy.
She calls every now and then to tell us that Koko is out chasing her cats or whatever. This morning she called at 7:00. We have an underground fence and a training collar on Koko, but it sometimes gets loose or she just doesn’t care about getting zapped. Either way, we’ve got her on a “leash” according to the leash law. Her cats, on the other hand, are not on leashes. She’s threatened to call animal control on us, but we could just as easily call animal control on her. I don’t think she realizes this.
I don’t blame Koko for wanting to get out. It’s too hot for her to do anything around our house except sit under the porch when she could be swimming in the pond or doing fun things like terrorizing the neighborhood. But hey, if Koko kills one of her cats, it’s not entirely our fault. She should keep those cats inside and mind her own business.
Ok, vent over.
I have no idea what to do today. Simon got a Target gift card in the mail the other day that we can go spend, but I really don’t know what to buy. He has everything he needs right now. Depending on how much is on the card, I may go ahead and get a baby gate for when he’s into crawling. Our old one broke a long time ago and we didn’t get one at the baby shower.
One thing I know I need to do is look for Aiden’s and my glasses. I haven’t seen mine since we got back from Savannah, and Aiden lost his yesterday. I told Jamie to look for them last night. He didn’t find them, so now it’s my turn to tear the house apart. This is the second time we’ve lost them in a couple weeks. IT MAKES ME SO MAD!!!
Man. I’m grumpy today. I didn’t get enough sleep last night and getting woken up by our neighbor did not make me happy AT ALL.
