My husband was nice enough to take the boys outside for a while so I could get some reading done! I’m almost done with my book, and at this point, I’m not sure whether or not I like it. The story has been interesting, though not entirely captivating. I haven’t read Sue Monk Kidd’s other novel, but I hear it is good.

I will be interested to see what you think of the Mermaid Chair. I liked the Secret Life of Bees much better – so if you haven’t read it and enjoyed the Mermaid Chair you might want to give the other one a try!
