Save Handmade Toys!

Can you believe it? The U.S. Government wants to regulate handmade toys made by loving hands, yet has no problem importing toys from other countries made from poison. Gah! I’m speechless.
I urge you, dear readers, to do something about this! It took me no more than five minutes to write my congressman & senators. Really. I mean it! Stop playing Freecell or Tetris, and go make a difference. If you can’t think of anything to say, check out the Handmade Toy Alliance’s “How You Can Help” page which has a letter you can copy and paste, plus links to how to get in touch with your representatives.

Words can’t even describe how passionately I feel about this. Jamie made some fantastic toys for our boys this year. I can’t imagine having to make dolls and toys illegally for my children. It’s ridiculous.
