Sentimental Silver: Review and Giveaway

Posted by: Lizzie

Growing up, I have always been a jewelry junkie. I used to wear several necklaces at one time, lots of rings, bracelets, and even toe rings. Decorating myself was a favorite past time. Since having children, I toned down my accessories considerably. I hardly ever wear earrings, the only rings I wear are my wedding ring and a beautiful emerald ring that Jamie got me for Christmas. Necklaces are rarely worn except on special occasions.

As for jewelry shopping, I haven’t done that in forever. A lot has changed since I used to shop for myself, and if I do shop for myself, I buy from retailers that are environmentally and socially responsible. It’s not hard to find stores that sell recycled and handmade goods. One shop caught my eye recently when I was checking out some of the newest lines of the season:  Sentimental Silver.  Their personalized pendants are pure silver, completely handmade using recycled silver.

A word from Sentimental Silver:

At Sentimental Silver each personalized pendant is custom made with your text of choice–use the names of your cherished loved ones or celebrate a birthday, anniversary or other special date.  The possibilities are truly endless.  With a wide variety of shapes and styles to choose from, each necklace is truly one of a kind.

I got to take a personal look at a Sparkle Bar necklace.  It is so simple and beautiful that I want to wear it all the time!  Perhaps when Timothy is a little older and not as grabby, I’ll be able to sport it more often.  Nonetheless, I love the necklace and the fact that it is made from recylced silver makes it even better.  I like knowing where my jewelry comes from.

Take a look at some of the great pendants from Sentimental Silver:

Oh, I love the look of these! My husband has something similar in gold, a custom that is very widespread in Italy, where he’s from. I only wear silver, so this would be perfect!

I would put the name of my son, due in October on my first Tiny Tag Pendant.

But since I’m not a resident of the US or Canada I’m not sure I’m eligible. My mom lives in Wisconsin and it could be sent there, in the unlikely event I actually win… :-)

    Thanks!
    Diane
