Simon doesn’t share.

I was trying to get Simon to go to sleep and for some reason, he was resisting his nap a lot more than usual. We were both getting frustrated.

He didn’t want to nurse. He didn’t want a blankie. He didn’t really want his animals. He didn’t want anything and I was lying down with him cause that’s usually the only way he’ll fall asleep for his afternoon nap.

So even though he didn’t want to nurse, I was lying there with my boob hanging out of my shirt just in case and he was playing with his Elmo doll. All of a sudden, he put Elmo up to my nipple and laughed. Then he said,

“NO! MINE!” and threw Elmo.

Then he said,

“EESIES,” with an air of triumph, poppped his thumb out of his mouth and latched on until he fell asleep.
