socks & stuff
Posted by: LizzieToday I must conquer the stinky sock-covered peaks of Mount Laundry. I’m giving up my usual Tuesday treat of scrapbooking with my sister in order to accomplish this task. That either shows discipline!
And yet, I blog.
My circular needle still has not arrived part of me is tempted to just go to the yarn store and get one. Then, when the ebay one arrives, just sell it or trade it for something else. Because I’ve been waiting for this needle, I’m almost done with the Top Secret Birthday Project. In my brain-pan I’ve been trying to come up with another project to start when I’m finished with it.
In NFB news, I’ve been searching my soul for a new business strategy. With the changes going on, I have serious doubts that I’ll be able to make money as an affiliate. I don’t want to quit by any means, but I might need to think about selling other stuff in addition to NFB things. I don’t have room in my house for any inventory or the patients to “mass-produce” things like handmade diapers or anything. So maybe I’ll try to do like one custom soaker or longies a month. I don’t know. I need to think about this some more.
In my heart of hearts, I don’t want to give up on a natural parenting supply business. I’ve even considered trying to open an actual B&M store in Augusta once the kids are in school. Obviously, that will be years from now, but that gives me lots of time to think about whether or not I really want to venture into that sort of thing.
Ok. Enough pondering. Time to get to it.
