So…stuff!

Here are the things I sent to Elaina! Not pictured is a washcloth that goes with the hooded blankie/towel (it is cotton, so it can be either one!). The sunbonnet is a lot bigger than it looks in that mosaic, but it was the only size pattern I had. Rowan can wear it probably until she’s like 40. Ha!
I had so, so much fun sewing that little dress & bloomers. Except when I messed up the bib and had to take it apart and resew it. That wasn’t fun. But putting on the lace and picturing a little baby in there looking all sweet just made me go all gooblybloobly. I mentioned that Jamie remarked on how I made all this stuff and I said that we don’t have a girl to sew for. Then he was like, well what if we have one? You’ll have used up all this girly stuff! Oh, how I laughed. Cause I seriously can’t picture us having a girl. I bet we’d end up with seven boys before my vag falls out on its own accord.
Oh. And there is one flaw in the knitted bonnet, but that yarn was a merino/silk/something blend and did not want to join in any way without it looking obvious. If I had noticed how awful it looked in the photo, I would have flipped it over so you all would be none-the-wiser!
Putting this whole package together made me squee.
