Posted by: LizzieI made the best-tasting shepherd’s pie last night. The only thing that went wrong was I put it in a too-small dish & it ended up overflowing onto the bottom of the oven. Reheated for lunch today, though—magnifique! I’m not giving away my top-secret recipe, though. bwahahah.
Since I don’t have to go anywhere today, I’m not getting dressed. Jamie asked me if I was going to at least shower. I said I’d put on deodorant. I’m willing to compromise.
Hey guess what? Simon AND Aiden are taking a nap right now! Can you believe it? It’s so quiet…
I didn’t write about Tuesday & Aiden discovering the mud puddle in the driveway. We were waiting for Corey’s bus & there was a pretty big puddle that Aiden decided to jump in. I really didn’t care because it’s not like we had to go anywhere right away & it was hot outside. By the time he was done, there really was no puddle left & he was COVERED in mud. His clothes were soaked & his hair was so nasty. At least he was cool! When Corey finally got home, we walked back to the house & I let Aiden take a shower. Anyway, that was fun & I want to remember it forever.
