Look!  A girl baby!  After several boys in the Grant family, we finally have a sweet little girl to spoil.  Jamie’s brother has a new baby and I was commissioned to crochet this afghan.  It’s the biggest thing I’ve ever crocheted!  Establishing the star was a little tricky at first, but one I figured it out, it was smooth sailing.

I stalk PlanetJune because one day, I want to be able to make amigurumi like she does.  I am tempted to throw down my knitting needles and dig out my crochet hook for these tiny whales.
