Craziness!

Things around the house are insane, for lack of a better word. This week alone was enough to drive this woman to drink! Not to say that I don’t ever indulge in the occasional glass of wine, but seriously, I just about pulled my hair out by this afternoon.

Simon’s been sick since Saturday, but after the third night in a row of no sleep, I took him to the doctor. Turns out, he has a really nasty ear infection and a perforated ear drum. Poor guy! He’s doing so much better today.

While at the doctor’s office, I had the ped check a lump on Aiden that I though was a swollen lymph node. He has an inguinal hernia! We’ve been told not to worry, and I’m trying my best not to. The surgical consult is in a couple weeks, so pray we can wait until after Disneyworld to have his surgery!

So this morning, after finally getting a full night’s sleep, we wake up to our dog being missing! She was hooked up to her lead, so she must have grown some fingers & thumbs in order to escape. Either that or our neighbor who hates us called Animal Control on us for no reason other than she hates us. I had to go pay $30 and pick her up this afternoon.

Tonight is Movie Night. Let’s hope everyone stays well tonight!

Today, I am nursing two babies. Aiden caught The Stomach Bug, so he’s camped out on the couch right now. He slept until after 10:00, so I knew something was amiss. Then, he had this massive belch and I quickly rushed him into the bathroom. He yacked the whole way, but we managed to get there before he peed all over the place. Pray that I don’t get The Stomach Bug. I hate puking.

Well, we lost a fish overnight. The good news is that the other sickly-looking fish is not sickly-looking anymore. In fact, it looks really healthy. Its fins aren’t even clamped anymore. So we may have finally beaten the ich.

I don’t feel like doing much of anything in the way of domesticity today. Other than taking care of the wee ones, of course. The house seriously needs to be dusted and vacuumed, but I don’t want to disturb Aiden while he’s chilled out. So, I’ll just do some laundry or something else that doesn’t require much effort.

Hey, you know what’s funny? When Simon spits up on Lucy. Man, that’s hilarious.
