Imagine the look of wonder and surprise when a child receives a photo of Santa caught in their house.
I think this is so neat! Alls you do is take a picture of your tree or your fireplace, upload it to iCaughtSanta.com, then you can place Santa in your photograph.
I laughed out loud when I got my sample of Cottonelle Fresh Wipes in the mail on Monday. Seriously. It just so happened they arrived on the very day members of my family came down with a horrible, horrible stomach virus. Talk about needing to be fresh! Read more…
I really can’t say much about the Hexbug Nano party that isn’t captured in this video. My boys and all of their cousins got together to build some habitats and let their Hexbugs run loose. It was insane but so much fun! Read more…
Oh, how I wish I could have had this baby bath tub when Timothy was small enough to fit in the sink. The kind folks at Puj Tub sent us one to try, but by then Timothy was WAY too big to fit in it. So, I passed it along to a friend who had a baby just a bit smaller than Timothy and then to another friend with a newborn.
Beth and her baby Emmy:
I knew that Beth’s family traveled a lot, so I knew that the Puj Tub might interest them. After all, it’s a portable baby bath tub that’s specially designed to fit in a variety of sink sizes. Beth said that they really liked it, but wished that it could be bigger. Emmy was only a bit smaller than Timothy at the time (I think about the size of a 5-month-old?).
From Erica and her baby Emma:
I really like:
the soft and smooth texture
the ability to fit into the sink easily
the fact that it can fold/unfold easily for use and storage
the tub stays in its usable postition with the maganets (doesnt fall open with pressure
The only limitation is the capacity. However, I don’t thnk that it is a limitation of the Puj Tub so much as it is of the sink size.
I would recommend it for use with small infants.
There is nothing that I can see about the tub that would need to be changed. Sometimes I wish for a bigger sink becuase Robert always gets water on the floor through the drain hole!
The entire design of the Puj Tub is genius in my opinion. I had fun messing around with it while we had it and I was really amazed at how easily it snapped together. Even though I never got to try it with a baby, I would definitely recommend it to other moms.
Check out the Puj Tub for yourself at Puj’s new website for baby bath tubs!
When our copy of the new Disney Blu-Ray edition of “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” arrived, Simon gasped and then proceeded to jump around as if he’d won the mega million jackpot. Now that we’ve watched it (twice), every time he sees a commercial related to the movie, he’s all, “HEY WE HAVE DATT!!!”
There’s really nothing like watching your kids as they experience a movie you’ve grown up watching. There are things you’ve forgotten about, like the part in the movie where Dopey runs around the house for a few more kisses from Snow White. And Aiden laughed his face off the first time Sneezy blasted out his first major sneeze. Simon was so worried for Snow White when she was running through the forest after the Huntsman told her to run away. It was so funny: when Snow White “died,” the boys all said, “The End!” Of course, that’s not the end, and they were glad that Snow White did, indeed, live happily ever after. (Surprisingly, there were no resounding “eeeews” when Prince Charming kissed the sleeping Snow White.)
Some technical stuff about Blu-Ray:
Blu-ray Disc (also known as Blu-ray or BD) is an optical disc storage medium designed to supersede the standard DVD format. Its main uses are for storing high-definition video, PlayStation 3 games, and other data, with up to 25 GB per single layered, and 50 GB per dual layered disc. The disc has the same physical dimensions as standard DVDs and CDs.
Highlights about Blu-ray discs and players:
Up to 6x better quality than DVD
7.1 Surround Sound
Immersive activity with games and special features
Kid proof-more scratch resistant
Plays both Blu-ray and DVD discs
Blu-ray also plays on Sony Playstation 3 players
Did you see that? Kid proof!!! We have had to replace several DVDs over the years because they’ve gotten scratched up.
We don’t have a Blu-Ray player (oh, how I wish we did), so we watched the DVD that’s included in the Diamond Edition Combo Pack. Even still, it looks GOOD. I have never seen an older Disney movie look this crisp! Compared to the VHS copy of Snow White that we still have, this edition is so much better. Plus, it comes with all these features:
Picture & Sound
First time ever in high definition 7.1 sound
Disneyview – expanded viewing experience
All-new Music Video
Disney Family Play
What Do You See? – Decipher the scambled image
Mirror, Mirror on the Wall – Which princess are you most like?
Jewel Jumble – test your matching skills

Snow White Returns – Newly discovered storyboards. Was Walt planning a sequel?

The One That Started It All – See how Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs forever changed the world of movies

And More!
I hope that if you don’t have a copy of “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs”, that you go out and get this edition. It’s great for family movie night, or even for curling up with your kids to watch on on a rainy day.
