Greetings! Welcome to my shopping corner of Suzy Q Homemaker. My goal here is to provide you with what I think are the best products for families. I’ll feature toys, books, clothing, and other items I find to be unique, chic, and green!
Happy shopping!
There are zillions of boutiques online for girls out there. And zillions of boutiques just for girls’ accessories. But what about the boys? Huh? HUH? I want cute stuff for all of my boys, but there really haven’t been many places where I can shop for cute boy stuff.
The genesis:
“Where can I find cute clothes for Ivan?”
With the birth of Ivan in 2004, this was the question that Sharon asked many “seasoned” moms, but the answer was nowhere to be found. After the tiresome visits to five different shops to find one cool shirt (with a baby!), Sharon decided to create the answer herself. She recruited her longtime friend Szewan, and Little Boy Chic was born in April 2005.
At Little Boy Chic, we recognize the uniqueness and individuality of every boy. Our boutique is for the grown-ups who believe that boys have every right to dress well and finding great clothes for them is a lot of fun!
I just wanted to share with all of you a shop I found called Little Boy Chic. Not only do they carry cute boy stuff, they carry A LOT of cute boy stuff! And it’s not all gay John-Johns or stupid embroidered rompers. (Not that there’s anything wrong with that)
No, Little Boy Chic carries adorable brands like Zutano and Pixel. Check out these Superhero Pajamas!

You really have no idea how much I love Zutano. Their designs are so bright and cheerful!
Pixel Organics is new to me and I can’t believe I’ve never seen their clothing line before. How can you not love this?

And you can’t forget the feet. Aren’t these Howdy Baby Socks the cutest things you’ve ever seen?

Buy it!
The kind folks at Little Boy Chic would like to offer my readers a 10% discount. Just enter the code “suzyq” at checkout!

Land of Nod is having a sale on their Nod Chairs!

And I fell in love with this Penguin Backpack (that happens to be Phthalate-, PVC- and BPA-free).

This would be perfect for hanging up next to Corey’s bed. I just had to tell him the other day that he can’t sleep with a pile of books next to his pillow.

And if I had an unlimited amount of disposal income, this would be mine:

HandySitt Birch & Black
I so wish I could try out one of these new HandySitt portable high chairs. I’ve always drooled over wooden high chairs. Not only are they beautifully designed, the Minui HandySitt travel high chairs have passed safety tests and won the Parent Tested Parent Approved Green Product Award.
What age child is the minui HandySitt designed for?
It’s designed for kids as young as 6 months (or as soon as they can sit up on their own) to 5 years old. For young ones 6 months to about 15 months, our Baby Cushion is essential to keep them snug. If you’re trying a HandySitt with a child in this age range, let us know and we’ll include one of these cushions. Once children hit about age 3, the safety guard is no longer needed and the HandySitt can then be used as a booster seat.
