The Good Egg Project
Posted by: LizzieBe a good egg!
We pledged to start recycling more. Since the county doesn’t pay for garbage service, we have to do all the recycling ourselves. That includes sorting, collecting, and dropping off all the recyclables at a donation center. For the longest time, the closest drop-off location was out of the way (think thirty minutes in the direction of nowhere where we usually drive), and I hate to admit it, but we opted to throw away a lot of things because all the recyclables ended up sitting. And sitting. And we never took them anywhere!
Now that there is a recycling center a little closer (five minutes!) that just opened up, I pledge to do good by recycling more.
What do you pledge to do?
Join America’s egg farmers in a commitment to living more healthfully and giving back to the community. For every pledge made, we will donate one egg to Feeding America – up to one million eggs! That’s in addition to the 12 million eggs donated annually.
