Going to the Eye Doctor
Posted by: LizzieToday is our adventure to the eye doctor. My mother is out of town & my MIL is working, so it will be me vs. The Boys. I’m planning on wearing the baby while we’re there, so hopefully, things will go smoothly. It’s too bad I don’t have my business cards yet in case someone asks about the sling.
This weekend was full of napping! Well, not really. I got to take a nice long nap yesterday while dh watched the boys and tried to work on a paper for his summer class. Every now and then he had to bring me the baby to nurse, but it was nice to lie down without the older boys coming in every few minutes to ask me for something. I’m sad we won’t be napping today, though. The appointment is at 1:50…right in the middle of naptime. Oh well. We may be able to get in a little snooze if we have lunch early enough.
This house desperately needs to be vacuumed. I won’t worry about it until we get home this afternoon. At least I don’t have to worry about the kitchen; dh cleaned up quite nicely while I was asleep yesterday.
On a personal note, I can fit into one pair of pants that aren’t maternity pants! They’re size 9! Of course, all my stretched-out skin hangs over the waistline and I’ve got terrible love handles, but they button, dammit.
I may try to make London broil tonight.
