Too bad winter doesn’t usually look like this

One of the perks of living in the country is our own little forest behind the house. It’s not much, but we have free fire wood every winter, room for a homemade tree house, and a creek. If it wasn’t for the SNAKES AND SPIDERS that terrorize the woods every summer, I might spend more time with nature. We got to experience a change of scenery last weekend which transformed the humble creek into a scene worthy of being a puzzle on my grandmother’s card table.
