Trix Swirls: Review and Giveaway (2 winners!)

I’ll be honest with you guys: I’m not a fan of sugary cereals. I’d rather not feed them to my children either! I signed up to get a Trix Swirls Creative Kid Basket because it had art supplies in it. But you know, I can’t always be the good, crunchy mom I want to be. I indulge in the occasional corn syrup and food coloring myself. I work hard not to do it all the time, though! It’s a process, you guys. A process.
So, aside from getting a neat set of watercolors, watercolor pencils, and a huge pack of paper, my kids really were excited about the cereal. Can you imagine three children let loose with a box of brightly colored, sweet, fruity Trix? Yeah, it disappeared–FAST. I think my only consolation in this review was the artwork that my children created.

My daughter says, you smoosh fruit and flour together and bake it in the oven. Then you carve it with toothpicks.

I think they got mixed up in the wash. The kids think that a rainbow fell out of the sky and created giant colorful puddles of water that splashed around and got mixed together.

My kidlets think Trix Swirls were created when there was no milk so they had to use orange juice. As soon as the orange juice hit the Trix, WHEEEEEE!!! the Trix exploded into brilliant colors and became Trix Swirls!! lol! Thank you for the contest!

I asked my daughter how she thinks Trix Swirls are made and this is what she said, “I think they mix up a bunch of food colors and the puffs, spin it in a paint mixer and voila!”

I think the Trix bunny ran into the Lucky Charms Leprachun and the Trix got mixed into the rainbow.

The astronauts took a box of regular Trix onto the space shuttle…. & that darn shuttle goes soooo fast the Trix swirled around inside the box & all the flavors mixed 2gether….. Silly astronauts, Trix R 4 kids !!!!!

A tornado wanted to “beat up” a rainbow but hugged it instead which made Trix fall from the sky! CUTE!
