Vacation!

I’m taking a break from packing for Disney. It’s insane! Simon’s taking a nap so I can’t gather up any car activities just yet. Aiden is easy to entertain since he like to look out the window, but we’ve never been on such a long car ride. Let’s hope the loaner DVD player is a success.

We’re waking up tomorrow bright-eyed & bushy-tailed to leave at 7:00! The kids still have no idea where we’re going, they just know that we’re going somewhere even farther away than my dad’s house. Also, they know that they can eat the “special snacks” tomorrow.

There’s so much more to do before we leave, but I think I need Jamie here to finish it with me. I want to pack the van tonight and then just leave in the morning without worries.

Know what I’m secretly looking forward to?

CAR KNITTING!!

That and not needing to cook for a week.

I think that I’m finally getting super-excited about the whole thing!!

That being said, I’ll sign off until we return from the happiest place on earth.
