We can’t afford a new mattress. So I sprayed bleach water all over the top and vacuumed. Jamie flipped it, then we put a mattress pad and three fitted sheets on it. When Jamie gets his loan money next month, we’ll get one of those expensive encasings that blocks all the allergens. HATEHATEHATE to the mold.
I got a full night’s sleep last night! Simon’s been nursing through the night all this week, but last night he decided to sleep from 9:30 to 6:00 this morning. Of course, I was nice and engorged for his morning feeding. Hope he was hungry. I probably could have fed about four Simons.
I need to find some good bean recipes. Obviously, refried beans are not working out for me since I’ve ruined them twice. What else can I make with pinto beans? I know how to do BBQ baked beans, but I need some variety. I also have navy beans, kidney beans, and black beans that I want to use.
Georgia’s sales tax holiday is coming up! This means I can sell stuff like diapers & crayons tax-free (to people in Georgia, of course–I can probably sell to other states during their holidays, too). My sister is hosting a party for me on the first day of it, so I’m hoping that encourages people who are interesting in cloth diapers. Nothing better than a big package of tax-free Fuzzi Bunz! I need to remember to order some Snappis when the time comes…
