Who wants to write to me?

I’d love to say that this was my idea, but I stole it from Eva who stole it from this chick. It sounds like fun!  If you read my blog (even if you’ve never commented), I’d love to do this with you.  For the past few years, I’ve been really super slack about letter writing, no matter how much I’ve promised myself and my friends that I would write them letters.  Maybe things will be different this year?  Maybe…

Anyway, here are the rules:

1) Choose 5 pen pals for 2009
2) Promise to write each pen pal a real letter at least once a month
3) Promise not to resort to email substitutions
4) Promise that you will get twelve genuine, pen (or old-fashioned typewriter)-to-stationery letters in your mailbox from me
5) Write a blog post at the end of the year about my experiences with my pen pals

    Wow! Thanks for picking up on the idea, and have fun with your letter-writing. In two days, I’ve written the first two genuine letters I’ve written in ages. I promise you: it’s as much fun as you remember (and I haven’t even received any letters in response yet). Time to get back to writing my other three letters…
