WIP: My first sweater!

Posted by: Lizzie

Leave it to me to pick a project that is incredibly frustrating for my first sweater! Not only are there five lace charts to keep up with (not at the same time, thankfully), but…well…I guess that’s about it. Some charts are “every other row” charts and some are “wrong side is shown” charts. Of course, I wasn’t aware of this anomaly until I was 100 rows into the front left piece. And that was after I had already frogged it once for losing count on the side decreases…

And then I had to frog three inches on the top because I didn’t take my chart with me to the doctor’s office and I thought I had it memorized.

Can you believe I made virtually no mistakes on the back piece?

I’m not really looking forward to seaming this bad boy, but my pals over at ravelry assure me that the task is not as daunting as people make it out to be. Hopefully, I’ll be able to seam without too many disasters.

My edges are much neater as I work the right front piece, so I hope my wonky left side doesn’t make me lose any sleep…

WOW, I don’g know what frogging is, but that project looks pretty impressive to me.

I tagged you for a meme on my blog.
