you got it, dude.
Posted by: LizzieIt’s time to get back into the swing of things again. Corey’s back at school, Jamie’s back to work and will be returning to school next week. What should I do with myself?
The house is incredibly clean, thanks to Jamie’s whirlwind cleaning spree that started Monday. My responsibility has been toward the laundry. I’m trying to decide whether or not I want to buy that case of Fels Naptha or just a few bars. In a few weeks, I’ll need to make some more laundry detergent, so I have to make a decision soon. If I ever go into town, I’ll try to stop by the natural food store to see if they carry it there and if they do, whether or not it is extremely over-priced.
You know what’s crazy? Jamie and I have known each other for 10 years. We met on January 3, 1997. On a street corner downtown!
Anywho.
Simon is about three seconds away from crawling. It’s really messing with his ability to fall asleep at nap time. We go lay down on my bed where I usually nurse him to sleep, but he’ll nurse for a minute and then roll over to practice putting his knees under him. While this is frustrating for me, it’s incredibly hilarious to him, until he realizes that he’s very tired and then whines at me because he can’t get back to nursing by himself. Heaven help me when he can just crawl to me & latch on without my help.
I haven’t talked about my fish lately because they’ve been healthy. Unfortunately, one of them is really sick and has been hanging on for dear life for the past two days. I keep checking on hit, but it keeps being alive. Poor, poor goldfish. This is one of the two that we have in there. You know, the only two survivors of the Ich Outbreak. We’ll see how much longer it can hold on.
So it seems that all the former cast members of “Ally McBeal” have found new television shows. We watched a couple of the new shows on ABC last night and were pleasantly surprised at how funny they were. Only thing is, last night was Wednesday night, so there’s a good chance I’ll never watch them again. Jamie, on the other hand, was upset because he usually writes on Wednesday nights while I’m at church with the boys. Now that he knows there is good tv, he’s not sure he’ll get much writing done. He did remind himself that he has a couple thou riding on his current project, so maybe that’ll be a good enough reason not to watch the tube.
I can’t believe tomorrow’s Friday!
